Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
Our faucets and shower systems are designed to fit standard North American plumbing connections, making installation straightforward for most professional plumbers.
Each product includes the necessary specifications and installation details to ensure a smooth setup.
The shower looks incredible and functions perfectly. Just be ready for a tricky install since aligning exposed pipes takes some serious patience
Stunning craftsmanship and it arrived so well-packaged. The unlacquered finish is already getting a beautiful natural patina
Super beautiful hardware and the tub filler flows fast. Just a heads up that it shows water spots easily being raw brass
Absolutely love the vintage vibe of this set. Having the overhead shower, hand spray, and tub filler all in one is perfect.
Wow, this exposed brass pipe system looks absolutely insane against our dark tile backdrop!
