Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
Our faucets and shower systems are designed to fit standard North American plumbing connections, making installation straightforward for most professional plumbers.
Each product includes the necessary specifications and installation details to ensure a smooth setup.
lawless mirror-like shine with zero blemishes on the metal surface. Extremely fast shipping and packaged securely inside custom foam molds
We mounted this solid brass tub filler directly on our plaster wall and it looks incredibly elegant in its simplicity. The gold polished finish has a gorgeous warm reflection that catches the ambient room lighting beautifully in the evening. The cross wheels operate with an incredibly firm mechanical tension and shut off completely tight with no drips
This mosaic bridge faucet completely anchored our vintage-modern powder room refresh against the white stone backsplash. Sits perfectly flat on our oak wood counter and didn't wobble at all once the brass mounting nuts were tightened down underneath. The look is entirely unique and every single guest has commented on it so far.
Simply gorgeous. Feels robust, looks high-end, and the water flow from the main spout is outstanding.
Super solid metal and beautiful finish quality. It works beautifully with standard fittings and the handpiece cradle holds the wand very securely
This tub filler is beautiful and the unlacquered metal finish has an amazing, rich depth that coordinates perfectly with our decor. The central diverter shifts the water stream instantly to the telephone handle without any annoying whistling noises. Easy to install too according to my contractor who set it up
Heavy brass construction and very neat packaging. Exactly the luxury vintage vibe we were hoping to get.
I am so in love with how stunning this brass setup looks in person. The water pressure from the handpiece is surprisingly powerful and there are zero leaks from the flexible hose.
