Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
Our faucets and shower systems are designed to fit standard North American plumbing connections, making installation straightforward for most professional plumbers.
Each product includes the necessary specifications and installation details to ensure a smooth setup.
Excellent water pressure and very straightforward to clean down. Our installer was highly impressed with the thread precision
The rustic copper finish contrasts beautifully with our textured dark slate tiles. The entire vertical riser column holds incredibly rigid against the stone wall brackets, showing zero flex. The water stream from the overhead dome is whisper-quiet and very soft
Extremely heavy, high-gauge metal pipework. No cheap plastic fittings or thin plating anywhere on this system
We decided to pair this copper system with a seamless light gray plaster finish and it looks incredibly clean. The metal column feels robust and stays perfectly still when the water is turned up all the way. The flat rain head provides an exceptionally relaxing and wide coverage
An absolute showstopper in our master bath. Every single guest we've had over has complimented the custom copper work.
Arrived incredibly well-protected f-thick custom foam molds. Not a single scratch or ding on the copper piping.
The rain dome head delivers a very quiet, steady stream with absolutely no annoying high-pitched whistling. The copper finish is beautiful and adds so much rustic charm to our newly tiled bathroom
The cross wheel handles operate with a very firm, smooth mechanical resistance that feels incredibly satisfying to turn. There is absolutely zero loose play or cheap rattling in any of the joints once the system is pressured up. It feels like a fixture that was built to easily last for decades
Genuine heavy-duty copper piping and thick brass fixtures. The entire assembly feels incredibly robust and well-engineered.
We are so in love with the warm, rosy copper tones of this exposed pipe system. It has completely transformed our walk-in shower into a focal point of the house. The rainfall stream is perfectly distributed and feels very relaxing
The hand-engraved patterns on the copper valve body are absolutely beautiful and give this unit an authentic artisan look. It pairs so naturally with our handmade green terracotta zellige tiles, creating a stunning Mediterranean atmosphere. You can tell right away this is a hand-crafted piece and not some mass-produced plastic tap
