Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
Our faucets and shower systems are designed to fit standard North American plumbing connections, making installation straightforward for most professional plumbers.
Each product includes the necessary specifications and installation details to ensure a smooth setup.
Installed this unlacquered gold set on our warm peach plaster wall and the earthy Mediterranean vibes are incredible. The curved arm extends out at the perfect distance, giving you plenty of comfortable clearance under the wide rain dome. It feels exceptionally heavy-duty and robust
This polished gold fixture creates a stunning focal point. The water flow is perfectly aerated and feels like a luxury resort shower in the morning. The detailed engraving on the base plates of the cross handles is an incredibly elegant touch
Beautiful golden tone that isn't too yellow or flashy. Packed very securely and shipped fast
We wanted a very clean, minimalist look for our guest bath and this gold set on our plain off-white plaster wall is perfect. The flat-profile rain head looks incredibly sleek, and the matching cross wheels sit completely flush against the wall. Excellent, balanced water pressure and whisper-quiet operation
This rustic bronze shower head looks incredibly authentic paired with our hand-cut green geometric zellige tiles. The warm rose-gold undertones of the unlacquered metal bring out the organic texture of the Moroccan clay perfectly. It delivers a dense, quiet, and wonderfully soft rain stream
We went with this brass shower set against our dark, heavy-veined black marble walls and the contrast is absolutely gorgeous. The physical weight of the rain head is highly impressive—it is solid, thick-gauge metal through and through. The separate cross valves turn with a very firm, smooth mechanical glide
Genuinely solid brass with a very substantial weight. The handles turn smoothly and shut off with a crisp stop

Excellent water pressure for a flat-profile rain head. It was shipped incredibly fast and arrived in perfect condition.
I was a bit worried about mounting it on our existing plumbing, but the standard threads matched up perfectly. The wall plate sits completely flush against our marble tiles and doesn't budge at all. It took me less than forty minutes to get the entire arm and head completely secured
The rainfall stream is incredibly soft and relaxing. It keeps a very quiet, steady pressure that doesn't spray everywhere
Extremely heavy-duty solid brass construction with a very premium feel. You can tell the quality of the casting the second you unpack the box
We decided to go with this flat brass rainfall head for our master bath remodel and it is easily the best decision we made. The unlacquered brass matches our white and black marble tiles beautifully, and the water flow covers a really wide area. It genuinely feels like showering in a high-end luxury spa every single morning
