Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
Our faucets and shower systems are designed to fit standard North American plumbing connections, making installation straightforward for most professional plumbers.
Each product includes the necessary specifications and installation details to ensure a smooth setup.
I couldn’t find any unlacquered brass in the U.S. that wasn’t thousands of dollars, and the rest is very yellow/green brass which I don’t like. These are so beautiful and rosy, and I’ve had them both aged now, and just polished (shown in photo) and they look great both ways. They will tarnish of course so just be mindful you either have to like that look or polish regularly. I was struggling with the cold water spout not having a base large enough to cover some rust damage on the sink, and they sent me a separate piece for it! I did ask about a larger cover plate for the disposal switch (for same rust reason) and they said they’d look into it and then I never heard back, but overall they were very helpful, and I love the faucets. Oh, the little faucet swivel I added and is not part of the set.
This faucet set is absolutely gorgeous! The brass has such a beautiful, timeless look, and the quality feels amazing in person. We did need to pick up a small adapter for the cold water faucet, but it was a quick fix and not a big deal at all. If you’re on the fence about ordering — just do it! The customer service team was very responsive and helpful throughout the process, which gave me a lot of confidence. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.
Beautiful faucets & sprayer makes my kitchen sparkle 🤩
Great quality! Very heavy, no plastic pieces. Sprayer, very heavy. No leaks so far. I did have to go to the hardware store for a few different pipe fitting pieces, but I contacted the company and they happily sent me some extra pieces I needed. Excellent customer service! In fact, I bought this faucet simply based on the great reviews.
Wonderful Fixture!! Tied the entire kitchen together!! As a bonus was very well made. Will use in future projects.
