Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
Our faucets and shower systems are designed to fit standard North American plumbing connections, making installation straightforward for most professional plumbers.
Each product includes the necessary specifications and installation details to ensure a smooth setup.
The warm gold finish on this compact tap contrasts absolutely beautifully against our dark, heavy-veined black marble countertop. It completely changed the look of our small guest washroom, giving it a much more sophisticated, high-end hotel vibe. The water pressure is fantastic and the single top handle operates with a very satisfying, fluid mechanical tension
Exceptional solid brass weight and completely flawless polished finish. It was super easy for our plumber to install f-a standard single hole.
Super easy single-hole installation. The finish is stunning and it hasn't shown any persistent water spots so far after a week of use
I am super happy with how elegant the downward curved spout looks in person on our vessel basin. It has a wonderful vintage shape combined with a modern, high-quality mechanical feel when turning it off. There is a distinct, heavy-duty weight to the casting that shows it's a real premium piece.
Extremely solid brass faucet. Heavy construction, smooth rotating action, and a gorgeous bright gold color
The polished gold shine is absolutely brilliant and completely brightens up our plain white countertop. Came perfectly protected f-heavy foam packaging with zero scuffs
Our new powder room sink looks so classy with this single-hole polished brass faucet. The single cross handle on top is extremely comfortable to grip and turns easily to regulate the temperature. The water flows out in a dense, quiet stream with absolutely zero splashing over the sides of the vanity.
