Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
Our faucets and shower systems are designed to fit standard North American plumbing connections, making installation straightforward for most professional plumbers.
Each product includes the necessary specifications and installation details to ensure a smooth setup.
Beautiful antique aesthetic and top-notch customer service. Would absolutely buy from this shop again
The brass finish has such a rich, warm tone to it. It makes our whole wash area look ten times more expensive.
The high-arch gooseneck design gives so much clearance over our deep kitchen sink, absolutely love it
Everything arrived securely packed and in pristine condition. The unlacquered finish looks so elegant and warm in person
Contractor here and the build quality on this wall-mount unit is excellent. Real solid brass with zero cheap internal components, plus the cross handles have a perfect, firm turn. Highly recommend for any high-end kitchen remodel
