Designed in Astoria, New York · Entirely hand-finished in our own workshop
An open shelving frame built from solid brass pipe and fittings, mounted to the wall. Add your own wood, stone or glass shelves in the thickness and finish you want. It works as kitchen open shelving, a coffee or bar station, bathroom storage or a shop display.
Please note: this listing is the brass frame only. Shelves are not included.
Fix into studs or with anchors suited to your wall. An instruction guide and fixings for the frame are included.
Unlacquered brass and copper are left raw, so the surface darkens and warms with touch and time. Leave it to age, or bring back the shine with a soft cloth and a brass polish.

Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
