Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
Our faucets and shower systems are designed to fit standard North American plumbing connections, making installation straightforward for most professional plumbers.
Each product includes the necessary specifications and installation details to ensure a smooth setup.
Our plumber had it hooked up pretty quickly. He even commented on how decent the internal valve quality was compared to standard home depot stuff
I prefer this dome style over the flat modern ones. Feels like something you’d find in an old European villa. Solid metal, no cheap plastic
Arrived in a couple of days, packaged really well with no missing parts. The valve block has a good, heavy feel to it when installing
Just finished putting this in. Honestly, the gold color is perfect—not too yellow or cheap looking. Works great with our plaster wall
Beautiful golden tone that isn't gaudy or cheap-looking. Arrived incredibly fast and was packaged very securely
Outstanding water pressure and very straightforward to install. Sits completely flush and rigid against our plaster wall.
Our installer mentioned how high-grade the behind-the-wall valve assembly was, which gives us great peace of mind. The slide bracket locks securely in place at any height without slipping or scratching the bar. The flow is incredibly quiet even when running both heads on high pressure.
Very sleek, modern profile. The water stream from the main dome is soft and wide, giving great overall coverage.
We love having the flexibility of both the overhead rain shower and the hand wand. Switching between them with the central dial is seamless and operates with a very smooth click. It makes rinsing off or cleaning the tiles so much easier.
The slide bar setup makes this system incredibly practical for our family since we can adjust the handheld head height instantly. The gold finish has a gorgeous satin luster that adds a warm, high-end accent to our minimalist white plaster shower. Everything from the hose to the main valve feels exceptionally well-built
