Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
Our faucets and shower systems are designed to fit standard North American plumbing connections, making installation straightforward for most professional plumbers.
Each product includes the necessary specifications and installation details to ensure a smooth setup.
Obsessed with how this looks in our custom shower! The raw brass finish has a beautiful warm glow and it’s already developing a subtle patina that adds so much character. Shipping was quick and everything was packaged beautifully
This shower system is pure luxury. The rainfall showerhead provides amazing coverage and the solid brass construction feels incredibly heavy and high-end. It completely transformed our master bathroom into a spa-like retreat.
Exceeded all my expectations! It looks like an incredibly expensive custom designer piece from a luxury showroom. The handheld wand has a fantastic weight to it and the brass finish is stunningly beautiful. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!
Beautiful, heavy-duty shower system with great function. The handheld wand is super practical for cleaning the shower basin too. It does take some regular care to wipe down water spots if you want to prevent uneven tarnishing on the unlacquered brass, but the high-end look is completely worth it.
As someone who appreciates solid plumbing hardware, this unlacquered brass kit is outstanding. No cheap plastic internal parts here. The water pressure through the handheld spray is fantastic and the main overhead pipe has a perfect, solid reach
