Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.

Excellent rustic finish that coordinates perfectly with our unlacquered brass faucets. Extremely fast delivery and packaged very securely.
The custom engraving on this copper towel bar is incredibly detailed and looks amazing even on a plain wall. It has a heavy, solid brass feel to it, and the mounting brackets feel exceptionally strong. It brings an instant artisanal touch to our minimalist guest bathroom setup
Perfect rustic look and extremely sturdy. Easy installation with the provided color-matched hardware.
Excellent raw metal craftsmanship. The hammered texture is completely uniform and it feels super solid when you grab onto it.
I was looking for a textured handrail for our guest bath and this copper finish is absolutely stunning f-person. The hammered detailing gives it a really good tactile grip while looking incredibly antique and handcrafted. It has a super heavy-duty metal weight, and my husband was able to mount it securely into the wall studs easily
Gorgeous hammered finish with excellent rustic character. Arrived quickly and feels like a custom artisan piece
