Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
Our faucets and shower systems are designed to fit standard North American plumbing connections, making installation straightforward for most professional plumbers.
Each product includes the necessary specifications and installation details to ensure a smooth setup.
This widespread brass set is exactly what we needed to bring some historic charm to our clean white marble vanity. The physical weight of the solid brass casting is highly impressive, with zero cheap plastic or thin metal parts used. It functions beautifully with a soft, whisper-quiet water stream that doesn't splash at all
The unlacquered brass finish has a stunning matte texture that looks so rich and sophisticated against our black marble countertop. The high-arch gooseneck spout stands out beautifully as the main focal point, and the matching cross handles turn with a perfect mechanical weight. It feels incredibly premium and robust
Outstanding craftsmanship and smooth valve rotation. It is already starting to develop a gorgeous, subtle organic patina that looks incredible
High-end metal craftsmanship. Worth every single penny for a custom luxury kitchen project.
Great height and functional clearance. Shipping was fast and the custom foam packaging was pristine.
The separate cross handles turn with a smooth mechanical glide and shut off completely crisp with no annoying drips. It looks incredibly expensive on our white marble countertops and the color is a perfect warm gold tone. Highly recommend if you are looking for that classic high-end look
Love how the unlacquered brass is starting to age and develop organic character. Excellent water stream with no splashing
We paired this unlacquered brass faucet with our hammered copper farmhouse sink on the island and the results are gorgeous. The sweeping high-arch design of the gooseneck is perfect for washing large baking pans without any clearance issues. It has a very heavy, premium feel that instantly elevates our whole kitchen remodel
