Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.

Exactly the vintage vibe I was searching for! Installed this in our guest bathroom and we've already received so many compliments. It has a beautiful weight to it and the unlacquered finish is aging beautifully. Shipping was fast and secure too.
The quality of this brass is top-notch. It has a beautiful, rich tone that instantly makes the kitchen look more luxurious. The cross handles turn so smoothly and it feels very heavy-duty. Exactly what I was hoping for!
The faucet itself is a work of art, very high-end look. Giving it 4 stars just because wall-mount installations can be a bit tricky if your plumbing alignment isn't perfect, so definitely get a plumber to handle it. Once up, it looks spectacular by the sink!
I am absolutely in love with this wall-mounted brass faucet! It completely transformed our kitchen remodel. The antique brass finish is gorgeous and exactly what we wanted for that luxury farmhouse look. It feels heavy, solid, and incredibly well-made
