Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
Our faucets and shower systems are designed to fit standard North American plumbing connections, making installation straightforward for most professional plumbers.
Each product includes the necessary specifications and installation details to ensure a smooth setup.
I am completely obsessed with the vintage charm this brass faucet adds to our wash area. The cross handles look so delicate but turn with a very firm and smooth high-end feel. It looks exactly like the photo against the white paneling backdrop.
Outstanding customer service and lightning fast shipping. The faucet handles have zero play in them and shut off completely crisp
Beautiful raw finish with a gorgeous warm golden glow. It arrived safely nestled in custom foam packing and functions flawlessly with great aerated pressure.
This single-hole deck-mount tap looks gorgeous sitting on our marble countertop. The high-arch gooseneck gives so much vertical space underneath which makes rinsing everything so easy. The solid brass construction feels incredibly heavy, premium, and durable
Solid one-hole deck configuration that makes the plumbing installation quick and clean. Genuine heavy brass body with zero cheap plastic parts inside.
Absolutely stunning craftsmanship, it completely transformed our plain vanity sink.
