Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
Our faucets and shower systems are designed to fit standard North American plumbing connections, making installation straightforward for most professional plumbers.
Each product includes the necessary specifications and installation details to ensure a smooth setup.
Outstanding craftsmanship and heavy metal build throughout. Our plumbing contractor had zero issues getting it installed quickly
The muted golden tone of this exposed set coordinates perfectly with the organic texture of our travertine tiles. The high gooseneck pipe arch gives plenty of comfortable head clearance even for taller people in a tight corner stall. The hand wand has an excellent solid grip
Absolutely gorgeous designer piece that completely anchored our master bathroom refresh. Packed very securely
We paired this warm brass column with our speckled terrazzo shower stall and the modern-vintage look is perfect. The slide mechanisms adjust very smoothly and lock down tightly without any annoying slipping or loose play. Excellent water pressure from both options.
This shower system looks absolutely stunning against our orange patterned Mediterranean wall tiles. The raw brass finish gives the whole space an authentic vintage villa aesthetic that you just can't get with chrome. The physical weight of the valve block is incredibly heavy and solid
The handheld sprayer has a great solid weight and is highly practical. We are extremely pleased with this purchase.
Absolutely gorgeous statement piece that is worth every single penny. It was packaged extremely well
Outstanding water pressure from both heads and very simple to keep clean. The unlacquered finish is starting to tarnish beautifully.
I installed this unit last week and the build quality is honestly top-tier. All the wall-mount brackets are cast brass and lock the vertical pipe completely rigid against the tile face. The gold finish is flawless with absolutely no spotting or uneven plating.
The high gooseneck arch gives plenty of comfortable head clearance. Perfect design for smaller shower stalls
Very heavy, solid brass pipework. Even the metal flex hose for the handheld attachment has a satisfyingly thick weight to it
This exposed pipe setup looks absolutely spectacular against our green and white star zellige tiles. The gold finish has a beautiful, rich luster that instantly draws your eye when you walk into the bathroom. The entire pipe column holds completely solid and doesn't flex or shake at all under high pressure
