Yes — every Brassdoria faucet and shower fixture is solid brass, not brass-plated or coated. Because we leave it unlacquered, the surface is a genuine, living finish: it will naturally develop a soft patina over time as it's exposed to water, air, and use, giving each piece a warm, one-of-a-kind character that plated or lacquered fixtures can't replicate. This is the same finish prized in high-end architectural and hospitality projects for its durability and the way it ages — solid brass doesn't chip, flake, or wear through like a coating can.
If you prefer to keep the finish bright and golden longer, simply wipe it dry after use and polish occasionally with a soft brass polish. If you love the patina look, just let it age naturally — no maintenance required.
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Our fixtures feature an unlacquered brass finish that naturally develops a warm patina as it interacts with water, air, and everyday use. This living finish adds character and depth, making every piece uniquely yours.
If preferred, the brass can also be gently polished to restore its original shine.
Absolutely.
Our faucets and shower systems are designed to fit standard North American plumbing connections, making installation straightforward for most professional plumbers.
Each product includes the necessary specifications and installation details to ensure a smooth setup.
Outstanding customer service and very fast delivery straight to our renovation site. The physical assembly was straightforward and the pipe brackets hold everything completely rigid against the tile.
Remarkably solid wall bracket assembly and very easy to keep clean. It completely transformed our walk-in shower into a luxury master suite
We installed this antique bronze shower system against our light Carrara marble tiles and the contrast is absolutely incredible. The overhead rainfall plate provides a beautifully dense, relaxing water flow that feels exactly like a high-end spa in a boutique hotel. It features genuinely solid metal construction with an exceptionally heavy, satisfying weight to the valves
An absolute showstopper designer masterpiece that is worth every single penny. It looks even more stunning in person than the photos show.
The finish is already developing a beautiful, subtle organic patina that gives it so much timeless character. It was very straightforward to install and the pressure from both heads is top-tier.
Exceptional solid construction with zero cheap plastic parts. Shipping was blazing fast and the packaging protected the finish perfectly.
Absolutely in love with the wide rain pattern from the overhead dome disk. It gives a super dense and relaxing flow, and switching to the telephone spray handle is incredibly smooth.
The intricate floral engraving along the mixer block and the handheld wand is absolutely beautiful and gives this system an incredible antique character. The aged copper tone looks incredibly rich in our newly tiled shower stall, offering a stunning rustic feel that completely stands out. Everything anchors perfectly flush to the wall and handles with a heavy, professional-grade weight
